Margins Calculator Explained:

a) What is this? This calculator tells you the Mark Up%, GP% and the Margin $.

b) What does this tell me? How much money you make using Mark-Up%, GP% and Margin $.

c) Why should I use it? This calculator shows you the different margin % and $ you make using both GP% and Mark-Up %. It allows you to see the differences instantly.

d) Caution: You can see the $ Margin remains constant but that Mark Up% and GP% differ. Care needs to be taken not to confuse Mark Up and GP. Note that Margin calculations do not include GST/VAT at any stage. This calculator doesn't tell you to increase or decrease margins. This calculator simply tells you the margins. Any changes you make to your margins are at your risk.
